Coode St Jetty is situated next to the small boat ramp at the end of Coode St in South Perth. There is a restaurant at the base of the jetty and the public toilets are on the boat ramp side of this building. In the vicinity there are plenty of open parklands, beaches, picnic tables, BBQs and children’s playgrounds. There is also plenty of parking to the west of the restaurant or on the left as you drive in. Please be aware that the main car park (on the right) is for cars with boat trailers so please keep these bays clear and only park in car parking bays.

This is also a very nice spot to relax at night and take in the lights of the city.

Species likely to be caught here include black bream, yellowtail grunter and crabs. If fishing at night you may encounter cobbler here, so please return them to the water as quickly as possible as they are protected in the Swan and Canning Rivers.

Deepwater Point Jetty

Deepwater point is a popular park for family picnics. It has ample parking off The Esplanade in Mount Pleasant and is also a very popular ski area and boat ramp. The area has public toilets, a café, playground and BBQ facilities. Parking is either in the main parking area or on the street verge along The Esplanade.

The jetty has recently been refurbished and is now in great condition. It is quite narrow but is quite long and can accommodate a number of considerate anglers.

Species likely to be encountered here include black bream, flathead, pilchard, mulloway, yellowtail grunter, crabs, and river prawns.

Keane Street Jetty

Keane St Jetty is located on the northern side of the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club. Access is from Lilla St, Hobbs Place, The Esplanade or Keane St in Peppermint Grove. There is plenty of parking around however can quickly be taken up by Yacht Club visitors. This popular jetty is quite small but can be somewhat productive at times. There is plenty of grassed areas, BBQ facilities, public toilets and a playground. Normally there is a café however as at August 2016 the area is cordoned off while the café is being refurbished but there is still access to the jetty.

Species likely to be encountered here include, black bream, flathead, flounder, tailor, herring, pilchard, mulloway, silver Bream, yellowfin whiting, squid, crabs and river prawns.

Point Walter Jetty

Point Walter is a very popular picnic area and can get quite busy, however there is plenty of parking in the area along with park land, playgrounds, a café, public toilets, BBQs, beaches, ski area and boat ramps.

Point Walter is probably best known for its long sand bar which is a very popular spot for fishers to chase flathead in the summer months.

The jetty is also a very popular fishing destination and can at times be very productive.
